COFCO International South Africa (Pty) Ltd has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to fulfill a role in this Company’s general operations division. 

 

Minimum qualifications and experience

Ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Finance and/or Accountancy, and a minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in a related field and/or similar role.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Compile daily stock sheet with 3Rd party stock confirmation
  2. Daily recon Repo and Silo certificate stock with ERP system
  3. Daily update of day storage provision file to product control
  4. Comparing 3rd party stock balances with inhouse ERP system data
  5. Process of claim invoices to 3rd party as requested by team members
  6. Repo – Finance and Repurchase of stock to and from banks
  7. Process of stock transfers from and to 3rd party clients
  8. Process of daily JSE notices and deliveries
  9. Capturing of silo certificates in ERP system
  10. Recon and process of storage costs invoices from silo operators
  11. Weekly and daily Sagis reports
  12. Process of ADHOC invoices
  13. Update SACTA levies for reporting
  14. Capturing daily silo deliveries in ERP system
  15. Ad hoc administration duties

 

Essential skills

  • Strong financial and accountancy background.
  • Computer Literacy in MS Office Suite (specifically MS Excel – pivot tables, V-lookup, X-lookup, formulas). 
  • Aptitude for continuous system enhancements and automation.
  • Numerical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within the business and within a team environment.

General

Reports to Operations Manager.

Salary is market related basic salary with provident fund and medical aid benefits.
