Standerton Oil Mills – Trainee Instrument Technician

Are you passionate about technology and eager to start a career in instrumentation and control systems? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Instrument Technician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment. Standerton Oil Mills (Pty) Ltd is looking to recruit Local Lekwa Youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified Instrument Technicians in the calibration, maintenance, and installation of instrumentation equipment.
• Learn to interpret technical drawings and process control documentation.
• Participate in fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
• Attend theoretical and practical training sessions.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards.

 Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
•  N6 / S4 in Instrumentation, or higher certificate in Instrumentation will be advantageous.
• Strong interest in instrumentation and control systems.
