SAP Basis Engineer

Summary Description of Position

In Cofco International we’re looking for an SAP Basis engineer, with at least 5 years of experience in administration of SAP systems, to join a new global team we’re building to support the business operations and company projects. This position will be based in our office in São Paulo/SP.

We’re looking for dynamic people, that likes to learn and evolve, without fear of change and always wanting to try new ideas, working with a skilled team. This team will be responsible for ensuring reliability, performance and availability of the SAP application platform to support business strategy, vision and goals. The role includes hands-on delivery of SAP technical work, project and mentoring other teammates.

We should provide operations support for SAP systems and technical infrastructure, including transport administration. The team also needs to develop and maintain effective working relationship with SAP application owners and IT infrastructure. It is important to identify opportunities and develop solutions to automate and improve efficiency of overall SAP environment, so is required to stay current with emerging technologies, products, services, etc.

Required experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science and Math or related technical discipline is required. A graduate degree in Technology, Business or Management is preferred;

SAP systems administration: S/4HANA, ECC, PI/PO, BI/BW, BODS, MDM/MDG, etc.

HANA DB administration;

Linux and Windows OS admin experience, with strong understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts;

Practical experience and implementation of key components in an SAP landscape;

Performance analysis & tuning;

Proactively perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues to resolution;

System sizing;
Fluent English (global position).
