Master Data Trainee

Job Purpose: 

• Develop a strong foundation in Master Data Management, including Business Partner (BP) lifecycle, data quality, and governance principles, with hands‑on exposure to SAP MDG BP structures and change request processes.
• Gain awareness of MDG workflows, controls, compliance requirements, and the business impact of accurate BP data across Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Compliance.
• Build proficiency in SAP MDG and supporting tools while strengthening professional skills such as documentation, communication, and process discipline.
• Be prepared to support BP MDM operations and progress toward junior roles in MDM and/or data governance.

Responsibilities:

• Support day‑to‑day Business Partner master data operations such as:
  • Handling of creation and update of Business Partners Change Requests (CRs) – Global Scope
  • Support data quality checks (VAT validation, duplicate checks, mandatory fields review)
  • Support with Global MDM documents’ maintenance (e.g.: User Guides, Internal procedures)
  • Perform open item checks
  • Handling of Financial Objects CRs at a later stage
• Developing foundational skills in SAP MDG, data quality, governance, and professional working practices.

• The trainee is expected to develop a strong foundation in Master Data Management, including Business Partner (BP) lifecycle, data quality, and governance principles, with hands‑on exposure to SAP MDG BP structures and change request processes.

• The internship also builds proficiency in SAP MDG and supports tools while strengthening professional skills such as documentation, communication, and process discipline.
• Be prepared to support BP MDM operations and progress toward junior roles in MDM and/or data governance.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications in Accounting/Finance/Economy/Data Science/Information Management or related discipline.
• Fluent in English (mandatory)

• Ability to understand basic processes and concepts
• Ability to analyze and solve issues but in a supervised way
• Organizational skills (ability to efficiently prioritize, handle multiple tasks and deadlines)
• Teams spirit and communication
• Very good interpersonal skills, with outstanding customer service and “can do” mentality
• Strong analytical capacity and attention to detail

Tools:

• Microsoft Office Suit (e.g., Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI (an advantage))
