IT Project Manager_Professional Internship

JOB PURPOSE:

To support the planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting of IT project activities, while developing practical knowledge of project delivery frameworks, governance processes and technology-related initiatives. This role contributes to the successful execution of IT projects by providing administrative, analytical, and coordination support, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, quality standards, and organizational requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support project planning and coordination: Assist in organizing project activities, timelines, milestones and follow-up actions.
  • Track project progress: Monitor tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and help ensure activities are completed on time.
  • Project reporting and documentation: Maintain project folders/files, dashboards, meeting minutes, and other supporting documents.
  • Ensure process and compliance adherence: Help keep project documentation updated and aligned with internal policies.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications in Business Administration / Project Management / Management or related discipline.
  • Interest in planning, process improvement and business operations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) in academic or professional contexts is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in a global environment.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and coordinate inputs.
  • Interest in IT governance, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Fluent in English.
