JOB PURPOSE:
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives across COFCO International. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and regional teams, you will help drive projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery commitments.
You will act as a bridge between business and technology teams, facilitating collaboration, managing project governance, and supporting the delivery of solutions that create tangible business value.
This role is well suited to a motivated project management professional who is looking to further develop their career in a global and dynamic environment. Given COFCO International's significant presence in China, fluency in Mandarin and English is essential to successfully collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Project Delivery:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of assigned IT and business transformation projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and status reports.
- Coordinate activities across business, IT, and third-party teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Track project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
- Support project closure activities, including handover, documentation, and lessons learned.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management:
- Build effective relationships with business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements and clarify business needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear project objectives and delivery plans.
- Provide regular project updates and reporting to sponsors, steering committees, and leadership teams.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration across global and regional teams.
Governance & Planning:
- Apply project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Support the preparation of business cases, project charters, and governance materials.
- Contribute to portfolio planning and prioritization activities when required.
Vendor & Resource Coordination:
- Coordinate internal and external resources involved in project delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance and support the management of delivery commitments.
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and resource planning activities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices and ways of working.
- Share lessons learned and contribute to the development of project management standards, tools, and templates.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives and change management activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- PMP Certified or equivalent preferable.
- Experience in project delivery, PMO, business transformation, or related roles.
- Ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive activities across teams.
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement.

- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (mandatory).
