Global Managerial Reporting Analyst

Job Purpose
With global activities organized from our HQ in Geneva, Switzerland, COFCO International is seeking an additional headcount – Global Managerial Reporting Analyst – to support finance reporting activities at Central level, such us:

• Daily consolidated PnL production through MIS and Management reporting pack.
• Working Capital and Long-Term Capital usage and charges management.
• SAP BPC Managerial Module developments.
• Managerial accounting through journals preparation for month end.
• Market and business performance analysis.
• Other relevant business controlling activities.

Responsibilities
Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

Finance – Managerial accounting, working closely with Global Controlling, Local Business Unit Controllers & Finance Teams, Global Treasury, Global Consolidation & Reporting and IT Teams:

• Control and manage working capital and long-term capital usage and charges allocation to the business units.
• Manage finance costs interest rate changes in conjunction with Global Treasury.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) Discounting Program.
• Prepare finance costs journals, inclusive of WC penalties, ensuring accurate booking in CIL’s consolidation system.
• MIS PnL true up, including WCU, LTA and finance rates.
• SG&A and LTA estimates upload.
• Corporate and finance costs reconciliation.

Estimates PnL consolidation and reconciliation to actuals:

• Daily PnL consolidation results and Management reporting package.
• Prepare the Flash PnL reporting for Beijing.
• MIS Central ME Adjustment (Captive Cell, US CME shares…).
• Perform monthly reconciliation between daily PnL and month-end PnL.

Market and business performance analysis:

• Proxy speculative PnL calculation (project in development).
• GBC pack market analysis and marco overview slides.
• Ad-hoc deep dives on specific PnL drivers requested by Management.
• Support in key strategic projects and ad-hoc analysis when requested.
• Work with local and global trading desks and finance teams to understand drivers of the results.
• Define business key KPIs to monitor on regular basis.
• Working capital usage and charges monitoring.

Support any other relevant topics under business controlling activities scope, inclusive of enhancement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor, postgraduate or master degree in Management, Finance, or other relevant area of studies.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience in similar role.
• Experience in an international trading company is a plus.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Very good analytical and critical sense skills.
• Able to synthesize a big amount of data and information.
• Logical approach to complex problem solving.
• Pro-active nature.
• Thorough with keen attention to detail.
• Articulate communicator.
• Teamwork.
• Responsible, organised, methodical.
• Experience with BI tools is a plus.
