Enterprise Architect

JOB PURPOSE:

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for leading the corporate IT architecture, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment among the systems, data, integrations, processes, and tools used within the organization. This role acts as a central point between IT and business to ensure that solution architecture meets the company’s strategic objectives and enables complex projects such as In-House Bank, digital transformation initiatives, and the evolution of the technology landscape.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Data Architecture and Integrations:

  • Develop and maintain the corporate IT data model, ensuring integrity, consistency, and governance of data across systems;
  • Design and maintain the integration map, functional interface map, and functional data model;
  • Ensure alignment between systems and information flows, from core systems to satellite applications;
  • Lead the functional and technical architecture of integrations, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.

2.Strategic Project Architecture:

  • Proactively work with business areas to structure and design strategic projects, such as In-House Bank, proposing functional models and defining the solution landscape;
  • Lead the evaluation and selection process of technological tools and solutions suitable for project objectives;
  • Support the functional and technical structuring of new initiatives, aligning them with company strategy.

3.Integration Landscape and Tools:

  • Evaluate, review, and define the technical integration landscape, including middleware, connectors, and tools (e.g., BSTOC, Azure Connections);
  • Support the selection of tools and modules with functional and technical teams, focusing on key corporate systems.

4.Corporate SAP Architecture:

  • Serve as a technical and functional reference for SAP architecture in all its instances (Global – P1, Brazil – P2, Argentina, China);
  • Ensure consistency and integration of functional and technical design between SAP environments and other applications;
  • Lead technical discussions with SAP regarding integrations, module expansion, and contractual scope and license reviews.

5.Support for Governance and Solution Selection:

  • Collaborate with Applications and Infrastructure teams to ensure projects have a solid, secure, and scalable architecture;
  • Provide technical and functional support for solution selection in new projects and technological evolutions.

6.Architecture Committee:

  • Coordinate, together with the Infrastructure team, the IT Architecture Committee;
  • Support the definition of standards, validation of solutions, tools, and strategic directions related to architecture;
  • Act as a technical link between different architecture domains: data, applications, integrations, infrastructure, and security.

7.Information Security:

  • Work in partnership with the Information Security team to ensure security standards are integrated into application architecture;
  • Support security initiatives focused on applications and data.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;
  • Postgraduate or MBA in Solution Architecture, IT Governance, or related areas is a plus;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in corporate architecture roles;
  • Proven experience in complex SAP projects and multi-region environments;
  • Experience in system integration, data modeling, middleware, and ETL/API Gateway tools;
  • SAP ECC/S4HANA (functional and technical);
  • Integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP, Azure Integration Services, Boomi, MuleSoft);
  • Corporate data modeling and EA tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Enterprise Architect);
  • Knowledge of application security best practices;
  • Experience with agile methodologies and architecture portfolio management;
  • Strong analytical skills and systemic vision;
  • Proactivity and ability to anticipate technical and functional scenarios;
  • Excellent communication with business and IT areas;
  • Technical leadership and ability to influence strategic decisions;
  • Fluent in English; Spanish (desirable).
