Clearing & Settlement Analyst

Job Purpose
The Clearing & Settlement analyst will assist in the post-trade derivative processes, with a focus on the daily clearing operations, the settlement of margin calls, account structure lifecycle, data analysis and teams support on queries or set-ups. The role includes the participation in initiatives to implement smooth and efficient processes as well as the liaison with multiple external partners namely exchanges and clearing brokers.
Responsibilities
- Day to day run of operations;
- Daily margining calculation, settlement, and reporting;
- Monitoring of positions at delivery;
- Trading/Clearing account’s structure management (creation/modification/deletion);
- Traders’ authorization and trading platforms access management;
- Clearing brokers KYC support, by providing information and documentation;
- Proactive identification, analyze and investigation of daily issues;
- Promptly work with internal departments to resolve breaks or incidents in the derivatives business;
- Business finance dashboards creation, run and reporting;
- Maintenance of the internal databases up-to-date;
- Provide timely and accurate information to both external and internal customers;
- Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members and internal teams.
Requirements
- BA in Finance, Accounting or related degree or equivalent work experience;
- 3-5 years of experience in middle/back-office functions. Knowledge of derivatives and Agri commodity markets is a plus;
- Fluent English (both spoken & written);
- Strong analytical skills;
- Highly accurate and problem solver;
- Excellent organization and time management skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Motivation to learn and expand competencies;
- Team work oriented and knowledge sharing;
- Able to work under pressure Flexibility to work on local bank holidays Proficiency in MSOffice. Knowledge of BI tools (Qlik Sense) is a plus.
