TRADE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
The trade support assistant will effectively be the link between Trading, Operations and Finance desks with a specific focus on system trade capture and liaising with all relevant parties to ensure a robust position and pricing in each trading desk.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Provide support to current Trade Assistants by ensuring timely and accurate trade capture in the system.
- Assist in the daily follow-up and maintenance of all positions, helping to keep records updated and accurate.
- Facilitate effective internal communication among Trading, Operations, Finance, and Back Office teams, as well as with external agents (Brokers and Futures Banks), acting as an operational support point.
- Contribute in the daily support to traders by preparing and verifying position reports, including exposure and P&L.
- Assist in the daily maintenance of open positions, including physical trade applications, paper trade allocations, washout proposals, and MtM curve adjustments/modifications.
- Collaborate in the daily pricing coordination, including versus-cash pricing checks, validation of fixing orders, broker statement reconciliation, and capture of executed orders.
- Respond to ad-hoc information requests, offering analytical and administrative support to the operators.
Experience and competencies:
• Degree in Economics, International Affairs, Public Accountant.
• 100% fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Portuguese is advantageous.
• Logistics and associated activities.
• Excellent excel skills (pivot tables, macros).
• Outstanding numerical / analytical skills.
• Great attention to detail.
