Payment Processing Assistant

Job Purpose:
To support the company's financial operations by managing daily payment processing, bank allocations, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments accurately within the accounting system.
• Review and verify daily payment transactions for completeness and correctness.
• Perform daily bank allocations to ensure payments are correctly recorded against bank statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Notify vendors of payment status and any pertinent updates.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Handle ad hoc finance-related requests and tasks as needed.

Experience and competencies:

• Student in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
