Accounting Analyst

Accounting Assistant (Temporary Role)

The objective of this position is to support the Finance team in daily financial operations, reporting, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Perform daily reconciliations and monthly accounting and reporting of derivative positions.
• Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances, including accruals and aging analysis.
• Daily  reconciliaton  and reporting of sales invoicing
• Assist on month-end closing procedures including:
• Prepare journal entries to accrue inventory, derivatives, receivables, and payables
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Cash flow reconciliation and reporting
• Bad debt calculation 
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ad hoc reports.
• Ensure accuracy, proper reconciliation and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audit processes.

  Experience and competencies:

• Public Accountant or Advanced Student
• Knowledge in Portuguese preferred
• Fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Proficiency in Excel
• At least 2 years of experience in a large multinational company
• Analytical skills with detail orientation
• Eager to learn with a can-do attitude
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and use of Power BI is a plus
