Treasury Analyst - KYC

Job Purpose: 

The treasury assistant - KYC - will be GO TO person for any KYC related questions, he/she will be main contact for COFCO colleagues as well as banks. He/ she will focus on entities based in EMEA and APAC regions as well as for Head office entities: CIL, CIHKL and Maoling.

Responsibilities:

1. KYC process

           WITH THE BANKS:

  • Filling in the documents delivered by the banks (CRS form, W8BEN, etc.)
  • Providing banks with up-to-date documents: commercial registers, share registers, statutory documents, org charts, signing patterns, DOAs (close collaboration with Corp Sec Team based in Singapore)
  • Obtaining necessary certifications (simple CTCs done by internal lawyer, notary signature legalisations, apostille, legalisations at embassies) 
  • Fulfilling condition precedents for credit facility

           WITHIN THE GROUP

  • Go to person for any KYC related questions
  • Providing the requested documents, gathering signatures, obtaining légalisations

 2. Bank account Management system - BAMS - administration

  • Assigning user rights: creating new users, deleting users;
  • Creating, updating and closing bank accounts, making sure that all necessary information, documentation is in the system - ensuring bank account accuracy;
  • Updating signing patterns for EBSC & SSA regions as well as Head office entities;
  • Gathering and Storing information on the signers: specimen signature, passport scan, current residence address (appropriate handling of sensitive information);

3. Maintaining and updating of Delegation of Authorities 

  • Making sure that all COFCO entities have DOA in place – working with Corp Sec and APAC and US regions to make sure that all COFCO entities have DOA in place.

4. Managing bank platforms: JPM, HSBC, ING, Santander

  • Assigning user rights: creating new users, deleting users who no longer us bank platforms;
  • Making sure that what is on bank platform is in line with current signing patterns;
  • Requesting reports of authorized approvers from the bank and crosschecking this information with our signing patterns (exercise to be done 2 per year).

5. Preparing audit request confirmations

  • Providing necessary information to auditors;
  • Preparing letters, gathering signatures.

6. Miscellaneous

Any other treasury requirements that may arise from time-to-time.

Education and Qualifications:

Academic Degree in Economics or Management Administration or equivalent training/knowledge.

Experience:

1 to 2 years’ experience in an admin position (preferable in Finance/treasury or payables team).

Skills: 

  • Very detail oriented with strong organizational skills;
  • Fluent in English/Portuguese as a minimum and preferably knowledge of Eastern European languages;
  • Possess highest standards of integrity and reliability;
  • Strong team player;
  • Patient, Enthusiastic, dynamic personality with comfort in a complex multinational work environment;
  • Able to work under pressure.
