Senior Human Resources Specialist

COFCO International is looking for a dynamic person to join the Human Resources team as a Senior HR Specialist.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR Manager to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee and enhance onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless integration of new hires into the company culture.
• Manage, audit, and improve HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
• Design and deliver training initiatives for workforce upskilling, including leadership development programs.
• Lead intercompany transfers, including VISA processing, relocation policies, and expatriate assignments.
• Supervise payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with local and international regulations.
• Drive performance management frameworks and provide strategic input to align with business goals.
• Lead initiatives for employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and organizational wellbeing.
• Manage and deliver high-impact HR projects, such as implementing Inspiring Benefits, Flexible Benefits policies, and systems upgrades.
• Use data insights to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
• Coach and mentor junior HR team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and professional development.

 

What does it take to be successful in this role:

• University degree in Human Resources or related areas.
• 5–6 years of proven experience in HR roles, including strategic responsibilities, preferably within multinational organizations or SSC environments.
• Proficiency in HR technology and tools, such as SAP SuccessFactors, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proven expertise in HR compliance, employment law, and organizational development strategies.
• Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated success in using data to support decision-making and improve HR functions.
• Proven experience in managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and resilient, with a track record of delivering results in complex environments.
