MDM Assistant

Master Data Management Assistant (MDM Assistant) 

Job Purpose: Support with the management and maintenance of the organization’s Master Data in the MDM system(s). This includes perform Master Data Management and Data Governance activities to ensure Master Data quality, consistency across systems and compliance with the organization’s policies. 

Responsibilities:

• Respond to MDM basic enquiries from Business Units (BU) 
• Manage MDM Change Requests (e.g., Business Partners, G/L Accounts) following predefined MDM processes and policies 
• Provide support to End-users with MDM Change Requests and Incidents submission 
• Support business, IT projects or/and MDM teams with Master Data Quality activities 
• Support MDM Team, Business Units (BU) and Process Experts (PE) to resolve Master Data issues 
• Support with MDM policies, procedures and standards definition 
• Support with the creation and maintenance of MDM educational material

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) 

• Master data maintenance SLA is consistently achieved 
• The agreed level of support for any parallel projects is consistently achieved
• Defined yearly objectives achieved 

Education and Qualifications: 

• High School, ideally bachelor’s degree with ability to understand both IT and Business concepts and tools

Experience: 

• 1 year experience in MDM operations

Skills: 

• Ability to understand Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Governance basic processes and concepts 
• Ability to analyze and solve MDM issues but in a supervised way 
• Organizational skills (ability to efficiently prioritize, handle multiple tasks and deadlines) 
• Teams spirit and communication • Experience in working in an international environment 
• Very good interpersonal skills, with outstanding customer service and “can do” mentality 
• Strong analytical capacity and attention to detail

Tools: 

• Basic use of Microsoft Office Suit 
• Basic use of SAP systems (e.g., MDG, ERP) an advantage

Languages: 

• English (Essential) 
• Portuguese (Plus) 
• Spanish (Plus)

•  Continuous Learning
• Travel abroad may be required (on an adhoc basis with low frequency)
