Junior Business Control Analyst

Job Purpose

The Business Control Analyst supports the Business Controller in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial and trading data across systems. Working closely with the controller, the role focuses on daily reconciliations between the Position P&L system and ERP, validation of exposures, and monitoring of working capital. The position also contributes to monthly closing activities, including reconciliations between SAP and trading systems. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Support controller with daily P&L and position reconciliation between systems;
• Support controller with working capital monitoring and validation;
• Support controller with FX exposure validation;
• Support controller with monthly reconciliations between SAP and trading systems;
• Support controller with data quality checks and process improvements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1- 2 years’ office experience, ideally with knowledge of trading but not necessary;
• Accounting/Economics - degree/experience
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
