JOB PURPOSE:
As an IT Specialist, you are responsible for providing application & process support to expected quality and speed driving improvements within the support organization. Alongside of the support, the IT Specialist is also responsible to act as an IT Business Analyst to enhance and optimize the existing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Application Support & Operations:
- Execute maintenance and support activities to ensure system availability and performance in line with user expectations, agreed service levels, quality standards, and service delivery processes.
- Ensure that support at L2 is properly handled and get involved in escalation mode at L2/L3.
- Ensure continuity when the solution needs to be modified.
- Lead continuous improvement application & problem management initiatives ensuring they are in sync with the business needs.
- Keep documentation up to date.
Enhancements:
- Contribute to the solution's delivery road map by participating in Project Activities.
- Ensure the solution includes enhancement requests' management and prioritize together with the business.
- Participate in the set-up and execution of end-to-end user acceptance testing with business representatives.
- Participate in package deployments/rollouts.
- Perform testing on relevant interfaces during releases.
- Act as a business analyst providing input to the business.
Other:
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to meet common goals and resolve issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Desired Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of proven experience in L2/L3 application support.
- 4+ years of working experience in large and complex organizations.
- Experience with Databases (Sql Server, Oracle, others).
- Experience with SAP, Azure and a ticketing tool (ex: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) preferred.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
- ITIL knowledge is a plus.
- Business-facing skills, understanding requirements, and transforming them into technical actions.
- Proactive, self-starter, needs to be able to work without close supervision.
- Willing to accept a hands-on role.
- Availability for on-call duty.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
