IT Governance Administrator

Position Overview:

As the IT Governance and PMO Administrator, you will work with the IT Governance and PMO Lead on ensuring IT governance frameworks are maintained and driving the successful delivery of programs and projects across the organization.

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives, oversee portfolio management, and enforce compliance with governance standards.

You will assist the project community, providing guidance, methodologies, and tools to enable consistent project execution and value delivery.

This role requires a strategic mindset combined with a proactive and autonomous spirit, as well as strong operational capabilities to manage interdependencies and foster continuous improvement across IT processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Manage the delivery of reporting tools developments for performance monitoring.
  • Execute IT communications plan.
  • Liaise with HR teams to keep track of IT Headcount.
  • Oversee portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to align with business objectives.
  • Monitor program and project performance, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coach and mentor project managers to ensure adherence to governance and PMO methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for governance processes, project status, and portfolio reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IT governance and PMO.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT governance and project roles.
  • Proven track record in managing complex IT programs in multinational environments.
  • Experience in establishing governance frameworks and portfolio management processes.
  • Background in commodity or industrial companies is a plus.

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • IT governance certifications (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) preferred.
