Global Talent Manager

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated international HR professional to join our growing team and take responsibility for COFCO International’s global talent management and succession planning process. We are searching for someone who can think strategically, create insights from data, and operate across multiple cultures. The role holder will need experience facilitating developmental conversations across a range of seniority. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Ownership of the global talent management process in accordance with the company’s policy and providing visibility of the organisation's talent pools and people development needs 
• Management of the annual organisational talent review activities, including preparation, administration and facilitation of Talent review meetings 
• Actively engage and provide guidance to regional HR Business Partners on the priorities, processes and timelines to ensure quality and consistency across the regions 
• Responsible for capturing and maintaining accurate people data within the HCM tool  
• Provide reporting and analytics of the Talent data to feed into the talent development initiatives and learning agenda  
• Responsible for the organisation’s succession plan, driving the annual planning process and embedding new succession practices across the organisation
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition teams (corporate/ regional) to identify global succession trends and external succession opportunities with a focus on key positions
• Identify and drive dedicated talent retention programs and initiatives in collaboration with the global HR community 
• Co-design generic career path plan structure for businesses and functions, encompassing job evaluation process and integrating banding and title conventions
• Partner with the Leadership Development & Training team to define and evolve the company values used for the various HR processes

 

Skills
• Passionate about developing people
• Strong track record of professional integrity 
• Experience working in large, complex matrix organisations 
• Initiative and demonstrated ability to achieve goals independently, including analyzing situations and establishing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to analyze competencies and identify High Potentials
• Minimum 10-15 years experience working in Human Resources, ideally in an operational HR role
• Very good communication skills (written and verbal), including internal and cross-functional cooperation.
• Culturally open-minded and able to perform in a highly diverse company environment
• Excellent English in listening, reading, speaking, and writing; additional languages are a plus, in particular Chinese (Mandarin) and Portuguese
• Internationally mobile
