The Global People Analytics Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting workforce analytics, headcount planning, and compensation planning at COFCO International. Reporting to the Global People Analytics Manager, this role is responsible for data collection, analysis, and visualization, ensuring HR and business leaders have accurate insights into driving workforce decisions.
This function is both technical and strategic, requiring expertise in HR analytics tools, predictive modeling, and process automation. The specialist will be responsible for developing dashboards, reports, and workforce planning models while ensuring data governance, compliance, and system optimization.
Responsibilities
People Analytics & Workforce Insights
- Collect and compile HR data from SAP SuccessFactors, SAC for Planning, and Power BI to generate meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
- Conduct predictive workforce analytics to anticipate trends, turnover risks, and talent supply challenges.
- Support HR decision-making with data-driven recommendations, ensuring insights are aligned with business objectives.
- Assist in labor cost reporting by compiling and analyzing workforce expenditure data to support budgeting and financial planning.
Headcount & Workforce Planning
- Assist in the annual headcount planning process, ensuring workforce forecasts align with business strategy.
- Provide data analysis and workforce modeling, identifying key trends and opportunities for resource optimization.
- Work with HR, Finance, and leadership to ensure planning accuracy and process efficiency.
Compensation Planning & Analytics
- Support the execution of compensation cycles, including salary reviews and bonus processes.
- Ensure accurate data collection, reconciliation, and validation for compensation decisions.
- Provide insights and benchmarking analysis to maintain competitive and equitable salary structures.
Technology, Automation & Data Governance
- Drive the adoption of HR analytics tools, ensuring HR teams leverage SAP SuccessFactors Reporting, People Analytics, and SAC for Planning effectively.
- Maintain data accuracy and security by following HR data governance policies and compliance requirements.
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to optimize data integrations and reporting automation.
- Support L&D, Talent Acquisition and Talent & Succession teams on building a data driven strategy, and insights, dashboards or other inputs that are relevant for the strategy.
Collaboration & Support
- Act as a key resource for HRBPs, Finance, and business stakeholders, supporting ad-hoc workforce and compensation analysis.
- Provide training and support to HR teams, promoting self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, helping streamline workforce planning and analytics processes.
Education, experience, skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced certification in People Analytics or Workforce Planning is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, or compensation analysis.
- Strong knowledge of HR data visualization tools (Power BI, SAC for Planning, SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics).
- Experience in data governance, HR compliance, and reporting automation.
- Data Analytics & Visualization: Ability to develop HR dashboards and reports for decision-making.
- Workforce Planning & Forecasting: Strong understanding of headcount and talent supply modeling.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience using SAP SuccessFactors, SAC for Planning, and Power BI.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Ability to analyze complex HR data and provide insights.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ability to collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams.
- Process Improvement Focus: Experience in automating HR analytics and workforce planning.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and data integrity.
