Job Purpose:

Supporting the SSC in the day to day running of all the functions of the Finance Department, which includes statutory reporting, financial and management accounting, taxation, cash management, and reporting

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting postings in line with the applicable accounting standards
  • Request the approval and posting of manual journal entries in the General Ledger
  • Manage all interfaces between G/L Accounts and other systems
  • Ensure the following reconciliations: Accruals, Deferrals, Corporate Income Tax, VAT Clearings, Fixed Assets, and other accruals
  • Perform analytical review and be able to explain in depth BS and PL the respective variances
  • Process of preparation standard financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, etc.), supplementary reports according to the accounting principles and group guidelines and tax declarations
  • Preparation of external and internal Audit requests
  • Coordinate with other departments to obtain information about transactions and research unreconciled items
  • Control and explain Budget deviations
  • Update the internal manual procedures

  • Ensuring all tax compliance are met, all transactions are effectively structured from a tax perspective

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications in Accounting/Finance or related discipline;
  • English language (written and spoke - mandatory)
  • Certified Accountant (is a plus)

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Accounting and Finance Reporting
  • SAP S/4 HANA and SAP_BPC Reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
