Reporting to: Country Controller
Scope of the role:
The role of Junior Accountant is to provide support to Chief Accountant and Country Controller for accounting activities, working in a developing environment, undertaking necessary decisions and work diligently under pressure, implementing all applicable policies and procedures and identify effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities:
- Data processing, including invoices, bank statements, assets in FA ledger etc.
- Filing and placing in order invoices and other documents (e.g. letters, bank statements)
- Assisting the annual auditing process together with Chief Accountant;
- Assisting/providing data for all statutory reports as per IFRS rules (VAT statements, taxes, annual financial package, etc.);
- Maintaining contact with partners whenever required, regarding the management of contracts; ensure the actions to obtain all necessary information & documents for drafting / correction (update) of contracts in the system;
- Running statistical reports for analysis of contracts, upon request;
- Offers and get support with knowledge sharing between the representatives of Finance / SAP teams in CE and HQ;
- Adheres to COFCO values, guidelines and procedures, as well as to internally developed policies and workflows;
- Performs other activities in the accounting department as instructed by direct manager or senior management, relevant to the position (ex. supports the preparation of reports and statements, provides backup for activities as instructed, performs ad hoc requests, etc.)
Requirements
Education in Accounting/Financial area or related studies
- ERP experience is a plus
- Very good MS Office knowledge
- At least intermediate English speaker
- Precise & hard-working attitude
- Hard-working professional

- with the other members of local organization (Trade team, Execution team)
- with the other members of Finance & Controlling team in Central Europe or Group (European and/or Global and Headquarters)
