The purpose of the role:
The Senior Logistics Officer has the role of verifying the invoicing and the transport costs related to the projects carried out within the companies, offering support to the Regional Logistics Manager for all aspects of the transport operations.
He has direct contact with the transport service providers being responsible for the accuracy of the documents.
Provides communication and collaboration with execution and logistics team members, sales team members, department directors, finance department, suppliers, customers, inspection companies and other third parties involved in the daily logistics process.
Responsibilities and attributions:
- Planning, organizing and controlling activities related to transport logistics;
- Fast and efficient organization of the activity necessary for the provision of transport logistics
- Contacting transport partners and maintaining good business relations
- Taking over the requests for offers and orders from the Commercial / Trading department;
- Obtaining competitive offers that meet the requirements of the Commercial / Trading department;
- Introduction of transport orders in the computer system;
- Introduction of transport invoices in the computer system;
- Finding the optimal solutions for transport and communicating the chosen solutions to customers;
- Organizing the transports in the best conditions, respecting the quality and the terms required by the company's standards;Optimizarea costurilor legate de transport;
- Verification and obtaining all the necessary documents for the registration of clients in the computer system
- Coordinating the loads and obtaining the necessary documents for the transport;
- Checking the correctness of the invoices and ensuring that they are prepared according to prior negotiations;
- Tracking and verifying the receipt of the original invoices together with the rest of the transport documents, correctly confirmed;
- Maintains a close connection with the Execution department for the approval of transports and offers assistance for the easiest execution of the goods contracts.
- Knowledge and observance of the legal provisions regarding the traffic on public roads and railways, in domestic and international freight traffic;
- Monitoring and verifying that all the transport partners used have a transport contract and comply with the transport legislation in force (licenses, insurance, authorizations, etc.);
- Maintaining good relations with external partners (transport) - all these relations should be based on legal contracts;
- Confirmation, modification, delivery or cancellation of transport orders;
- Preparation of activity reports and forecasting the expenses related to the department;
- Providing support for the preparation of various situations submitted by the Logistics department;
- Execution of any other activity requested by the direct manager, in direct connection with the business and the transport activity, when needed.
- Compliance with the company's internal rules (Internal Regulations, Collective Labor Agreement, COFCO procedures and policies, etc.)
Requirements:
- Graduate of higher education;
- Experience in the field of transport / logistics of at least 3 years (background in the field of Agri is an advantage)
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office package (Excel - minimum intermediate level);
- Knowledge of the Sharp system is an advantage;
- Knowledge of English (written and conversational) - minimum intermediate level is a mandatory condition;
- Promptness in solving tasks with the ability to manage several responsibilities simultaneously;
- Very good ability to communicate and relate with customers (both by phone and in writing);
- Knowledge of working in commerce: preparation / verification of invoices, BO, CEC, tracking due payments, receipts;
- Speed in entering data into computer systems.

ON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH:
- observes the norms regarding occupational safety and health and PSI and is responsible for their acquisition and observance by all subordinate personnel;
- respects the internal regulations at company level and ensures the knowledge and observance of these documents;
- To cooperate with the employer or the designated worker as long as necessary, in order to make possible the realization of any measure or requirement ordered by the Labor Inspectorate, the sanitary inspectors for the protection of the health and safety of the workers;
- Cooperate as long as necessary with the employer or designated worker to enable the employer to ensure that the work environment and working conditions are safe and without risks to safety and health in its field of activity.
- To acquire and respect the provisions of the legislation in the field of safety and health at work and their application measures;
- To give reports requested by labor inspectors and health inspectors;
- To use correctly the machines, equipment and other means of society;
- To communicate immediately to the employer, any work situation about which he has good reasons to consider it a danger, as well as any deficiency of the protection system.
