Strategy Analyst

Job Description:

The Strategy Team works on strategic and transformational assignments for COFCO International Limited (CIL) in the areas of Strategy development and execution. We are looking for a strong professional interested in working with a dynamic multi-cultural team responsible for driving strategy development and execution of strategic and operational projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage / support the development and execution of strategic initiatives and special projects

• Support senior leadership with market and strategic insights, conduct trend analysis and industry and competitor assessment, propose and evaluate growth opportunities

• Collaborate with counterparts at corporate and Business unit level to drive strategy formulation and strategic alignment

• Develop compelling presentations to support senior leadership needs, communicate status updates and communicate results

• Develop and update excel models to support analyses

Requirements:

• 5+ years of total professional experience with a top tier strategy consulting firm or Corporate Strategy role in a leading international company with increasing levels of responsibility

• Excellent analytical-conceptual skills, strong thought leadership and story-lining capabilities, structured and results-driven way of working, and ability to get things done

• Strong project management experience with proven track record of leading transformational change

• Good track record on strategy developments for business units

• Extremely proficient in PowerPoint and financial modeling/Excel

• Experience in Agriculture, commodity trading or food ingredients / processing preferred

• Top-tier undergraduate and Masters degrees (MBA preferred)

• Demonstrated ability in managing strategic initiatives and projects with leadership experience

• First-rate communication skills and experience in collaborating with highly culturally diverse team

• Business fluency in English and Chinese

• Experience with Balanced Score Card and other performance management systems preferred

• Experience with Business Process Redesign a plus
